Dyslexia Awareness Workshop

 Dear Provider

Increasingly, learners are taking part in learning and training in the workplace or related to the workplace. About 20% of learners are thought to have dyslexia. As a result, work-based learning assessors, trainers and managers need to understand how to support learners with dyslexia effectively, so that they meet their legal obligations and enable learners to fulfil their potential.
This half-day training course will provide you with general information about dyslexia and its impact on learning, practical approaches to supporting learners with dyslexia, and an exploration of some of the potentially controversial issues that surround this topic.
