Entry to Employment is a programme designed for 16-19 year olds who have left school but are not quite ready or able to access an Apprenticeship or any other level 2 programme (such as NVQ) or employment.
The e2e programme is designed to help and support young people to become independent, self-motivated, informed and empowered to take control of their lives.
Skills covered on the e2e programme include:
e2e is a flexible learning route, and planned attendance is normally 30 hours a week for a minimum of 10 weeks. Although learners will not receive a wage on e2e they will be eligible for weekly Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of £30.00 per week if they attend more than 16 hours per week. They will also be paid achievement bonuses as they progress through the programme.
E2E programmes are usually only available through connexions.
